The Spanish Ballroom, a beautifully restored 1933 Mediterranean style Art Deco building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, hosts nearly 200 dance events each year. It boasts a huge (110’ by 70’) hardwood dance floor that is beloved by dancers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. All donations from this concert series benefit the artists and the Glen Echo Park Partnership, which sponsors and hosts an extensive range of art classes, exhibitions, festivals, social dances, children’s theater, and music programs at Glen Echo Park in addition to preserving and maintaining the Park’s historic structures.
