    ART WALK

    Every First Friday, May through September from 6pm to 8pm, the Glen Echo Park Partnership hosts open studios and artist demonstrations in the Park's many visual arts studios and galleries. Each month features different activities. 


    NOTE: Art Walk was cancelled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic


    Open Studios & Galleries:

    Art Glass Center at Glen Echo – fused glass studio and gallery

    Glen Echo Glassworks – blown glass studio and gallery
    Glen Echo Pottery Gallery – pottery studio and gallery

    Park View Gallery  – presenting work by local emerging artists

    Photoworks – digital and darkroom photography studio and gallery

    Popcorn Gallery – presenting work by resident artists and local artists

    The Sculpture Studio – sculpture and hand-carved stonework by studio artists

    SilverWorks – silversmithing studio and gallery

    Stone Tower Gallery  – presenting work by resident artists and local artists

    Stone Tower Studio – resident artist studio and gallery

    Yellow Barn Studio & Gallery  – weekend member exhibitions


    In addition to activities in our visual arts studios, the Washington Conservatory of Music presents a "Casual Concerts" series to coincide with Art Walk.  

    After the Art Walk in the Park stay for dinner at Praline at Glen Echo Park followed by social dancing in the Spanish Ballroom.
