The Sculpture Studio also organizes gallery exhibitions for students and studio artists, tours of museums, galleries and alternative spaces, and presentations on the expansive field of sculpture.
In order to follow current state and county pandemic guidelines, the Sculpture Studio is offering only limited beginner classes.

Nizette Brennan
Nizette is a sculptor and educator who began stone carving while majoring in studio art at the University of Maryland, College Park. She continued stone carving and teaching on the Greek islands of Naxos and Paros using locally quarried marble. Michelangelo’s letters led Nizette to Pietrasanta, Italy, where she had her studio for four years during which time she worked alongside other sculptors from all over the world, including the preeminent Japanese American sculptor.
